The Taramar story began when, after recovering from Lyme disease, Icelandic marine biologist Prof. Gudrun Marteinsdottir, suddenly became sensitive to skincare she once tolerated. She and her husband, food-science Prof. Kristberg Kristbergsson, set out to create toxin-free formulas that combined indigenous ingredients with legendary Icelandic vitality.
